If you love the look of wire and beads and want to learn how to make a bracelet almost entirely out of wire, then this workshop is for you! In this workshop, you will learn how to make wire components that will serve as the core of the bracelet to which you will be able to attach charms/bead dangles. You will also learn how to make wire components and beads out of wire that you will be able to attach to the core and/or incorporate into any piece of jewelry. You will leave this class with a finished bracelet that you designed!
Price includes registration plus a kit fee.
Kit Includes: 16g silver or gold parawire to make the core components (squiggle and S shape components), 18g and/or 20g parawire to make core components (“garage door spring” components), 20g and 22g silver or gold parawire (brand name) to make wire beads and to wire wrap bead dangles that will be attached to the core, jump rings, an assortment of beads and a toggle clasp. There may be more materials included in the kit than may be required to make the project in the class. Kits and closures/clasps will vary from the sample picture.
Tools: Wire cutters designed to cut 22g through 16g wire, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, and two pairs of smooth chain nose pliers.
Optional: Mandrels or Mister Twister/Coiling Gizmo, chasing hammer and bench block.
