If you love the way coiled and double-coiled beads look when they are incorporated into jewelry designs, and/or the way double-coiled and wrapped beads look, then this class is for you! You will learn how to make coils with wire that you can use as beads per se. You will also learn how to make double-coils that you can use as beads per se as well as how to incorporate beads into the double-coils to dress up the beads. You will leave this class with a finished necklace that you designed!
Price includes registration plus a kit fee.
Kit Includes: One spool of 24g silver or gold parawire (brand name) for making coils, one spool of 20g silver or gold parawire for making double coils, one spool of 18g silver or gold parawire for making eye pins, an assortment of beads, jump rings, a toggle clasp, and a complete set of instructions. There may be more materials included in the kit than may be required to make the project in the class. Kits and closures/clasps will vary from the sample picture.
Tools: Coiling Gizmo or a Mister Twister, wire cutters designed to cut 24g through 18g wire, round nose pliers, and two pairs of smooth chain nose pliers.
Optional Tools: Steel bench block and chasing hammer.
